Are these real or synthetic gemstones?Updated 10 months ago
We use a mixture of natural and synthetic gemstones. Synthetic gems are manufactured in laboratories whereas natural gems are mined. Commonly known as "man-made gems" or "cultured gems," synthetic gems earned their name because they are scientifically created or "grown" in a laboratory setting.
A synthetic gemstone is a type of premium, high-grade, man-made stone that mimics the cut, colour and clarity of real precious and semi-precious gemstones (i.e.; Like how Cubic Zirconia mimics diamonds). Using synthetic gemstones allows us to keep the quality, vibrancy and colours of the stones consistent.
A natural gemstone has impurities that have permeated the stone and they also have more inclusions than natural gems. An inclusion refers to an imperfection in the gemstone that can weaken its colour or lustre. Examples include bubbles, feathers, and sheaves.
Whatever the stone we guarantee quality materials through our RJC certification.
