What are our studio rules?Updated 9 months ago

We want your experience to be as safe and enjoyable as possible, in order to create the best environment possible we require the following rules to be adhered to:

• The piercing studio must always remain under the piercer’s control.  
• The piercer is responsible for the health and safety of everyone in the studio. 
• Only one other person can be in the piercing studio while the procedure is taking place. The piercer should dictate where this additional person should stand or sit, and how they should behave.  
• Children must always be supervised by a parent and/or guardian. 
• Those who either cannot or will not behave appropriately in the piercing studio must not be permitted and will be asked to leave at the piercer’s and/or by charlotte staff’s discretion.  
• The piercer should not pierce anyone who appears under the influence of drugs or alcohol, is behaving erratically, or is not in full possession of his/her/their mental or physical faculties. 
• The piercer must not pierce anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding. 
• The piercer will not pierce anyone outside of our Age Restriction Policy or anyone who has not complied with our Underage Client policy. 
• The piercer will not pierce body parts of children as specified in our Age Restriction Policy. Only lobe piercings are available for clients between 12 and 13 years of age.
• Cartilage Piercings are available for ages 14 years and above.
• The piercer will not pierce anyone who has not complied with our Verification of Age Policy i.e., has not provided the appropriate form of identification. 
• The piercer will not pierce anyone who has not complied with our Consent Policy i.e., has not read and signed our Consent and Release Form. 
• No food, drinks or animals are allowed in the piercing studio. 
• No photos or videos are permitted in the piercing room while the procedure is taking place. Photos and videos are permitted in our styling suite (outside the piercing studio), during the consultation, and before or after the procedure has taken place. 
• by charlotte will only pierce up to 4 piercings per appointment.

Ensuring that these items are complied with it will allow us to continue giving you the best by charlotte experience that we can. Anyone who does not wish to comply with the above will not be able to be pierced and will be asked to leave. 

Consequently, if you are asked to leave due to creating distress or becoming unreasonable towards the team, the deposit paid prior will not be refunded to you.
