Studio GuidelinesUpdated an hour ago
Your safety and comfort are at the heart of every By Charlotte piercing. To create an environment that is calm, respectful, and professional, we kindly ask that the following guidelines be observed:
- The piercing studio must remain under the piercer’s control at all times; they are responsible for the health and safety of everyone in the space.
- Only one support person may accompany you during the procedure, and they must follow the piercer’s direction on where to stand or sit.
- Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
- Anyone unable or unwilling to behave appropriately will be asked to leave at the discretion of the piercer or the By Charlotte staff.
- We cannot pierce anyone who appears under the influence of drugs or alcohol, is behaving erratically, or is not in full possession of their mental or physical faculties.
- For health and safety reasons, we do not pierce clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- All piercings must comply with our Age Restriction Policy: only lobe piercings are available for clients aged 12–13, and cartilage piercings for those 14 and older.
- Appropriate photo ID must be provided in line with our Verification of Age Policy, and consent forms must be completed before any piercing takes place.
- No food, drinks, or animals are permitted in the studio.
- Photos and videos are not allowed during the procedure, but may be taken in our styling suite during your consultation or after your appointment.
- A maximum of four piercings may be completed per appointment.
By following these guidelines, we can ensure that your experience is safe, enjoyable, and truly reflective of the By Charlotte standard of care. Please note: if you are asked to leave due to inappropriate behaviour or distressing our team, your deposit will be forfeited.
