Caring For Your CuffUpdated 4 hours ago
At By Charlotte, we design with longevity in mind, but cuffs are especially vulnerable to wear and care habits. Please note that pieces not cared for according to these guidelines are not covered under our warranty.
Wearing Your Cuff
To put on your cuff, begin by turning your wrist so your thumb faces upward, exposing the narrowest part of your wrist. Place the opening of the cuff beneath your wrist and gently slide it over, easing it across the bone until it sits flat and secure. To remove, simply reverse these steps.
Avoid bending or moulding the cuff to fit a larger part of your arm, as this can compromise the integrity of the piece. We also recommend removing your cuff before exercise or any activity that may apply pressure and risk breakage.
Cleaning Your Cuff
After wearing, gently wipe your cuff with a soft cloth to remove any natural oils or residue. For a deeper clean, use a small amount of mild washing liquid diluted in warm water, then dry carefully with a cloth and lay flat on a towel to air dry. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, as the vibrations can damage the plating and cause cracking.
